Celebrating 25 years – a momentous milestone of growth and change, ADRA in Vietnam opened a warm and friendly Ceremony along with Dinner Reception, requesting the honorable presence of nearly 100 representatives from the governmental agencies, the embassies, donor and partner offices, the media agencies to join the great joy of ADRA members and staffs.
This was expected a wonderful opportunity to extend partnership and tighten the long-established relations. During 25 years, ADRA has thrived and confirmed its status among other INGOs operating in Vietnam, thanks to enormous support from the donors, partners, volunteers and staffs. For this, the celebration was also of distinctive chance to say thank you to the supporters, who have made the existence of ADRA in Vietnam today meaningful and contributed to its maturity.
The evening ceremony was initiated by a stunning clip about ADRA brief history of services in Vietnam throughout a quarter of the century. From the start with feeding program at old folk’s house in Ho Chi Minh City, to recent project approaching new focus on environmental field and climate change, different generations of ADRA staffs have dedicated wholeheartedly to bring and create positive changes to the communities.
Later part was shined by sharing of Mr. Ralph Watts – Founder, Former President of ADRA International. Witnessing the growing journey of ADRA International throughout 30 years, he was even more impressed by the adventure journey of ADRA in Vietnam since 1989.

One of highlights of the celebration, ADRA in Vietnam placed a special moment in order to honor the name of individuals, who have contributed to build up and strengthen long-standing support to the work of ADRA in Vietnam. We have called the name in pride of Mr. Ralph Watts – Former President of ADRA International, Mr. Mark Webster – CEO of ADRA Australia, Ms. Victoria Fray – International Program Manager of ADRA New Zealand, Mr. Le Ba Vu from Cao Bang Department of Foreign Affairs.
Dinner Reception of this special night was held in the cosy and elegant atmosphere of Hemisphere Restaurant – Sheraton. All guests have mingled with new friends and colleagues, leaving a gentle touch for the end of celebrating event.
